Therapy can be an intimate and life changing experience, leading to self-awareness and supporting through life transition. It can also be a safe space to explore the past and untangle experiences and relationships that might affect the way we are today. You might want to address symptoms or distressing feelings, process a significant life event or work towards matching your goals to your values. The reasons for coming to therapy are as unique and individual as each of us.
If you are interested in starting therapy, the first step is to contact me. This can be via email or you can request a brief phone call. I aim to respond within 48 hours.
The first appointment will be a consultation, to discuss your needs and how I can best help you. Following from that, we can decide together whether we continue or explore other options for you.
We can work in an open ended way (meaning there is not a predefined number of sessions), with a defined number of sessions or even with ad-hoc appointments, depending on your goals, needs and the plan we discuss and agree on at our initial consultation. Sessions last for 50 minutes.
I am working exclusively online for the foreseeable future, through video call.
