March 2020:

In these unprecedented times, I wanted to outline how I am shaping my practice to respond to the challenge we are all facing due to the escalating Coronavirus pandemic.

Social distancing and self-isolation are necessary right now; however they can present challenges including loneliness, exacerbation of anxiety, low mood and motivation as well as financial pressures for many people. Equally, you may have been thinking about therapy for a while and now wondering how to access it. Support for your mental health can take many forms, and I can offer space to reflect and work together to design a plan tailored to you.

Face-to-face appointments will not be taking place for a while to ensure everyone’s safety and reduce the spread of the virus. For the next few weeks and until further notice, I will be providing 1:1 consultations and therapy sessions through telephone and online video-conference platform.

Therapeutic work through these means has differences. In order to discuss how this might work for you, I will be offering 20-minute phone consultations to all new inquiries for the month of April free of charge. I will also be providing packages of 4 low-cost sessions of CBT-based therapeutic support for the duration of the lockdown. Please get in touch to discuss your circumstances and individual needs.

Keep safe and stay at home.

With my very best wishes to you, your families and loved ones.
